The district will sell about 800 used laptops and 1,500 used desktop computers. Laptops will sell for $250 each and desktops will sell for $150 each. Only one laptop will be sold to each family due to the high demand for laptop computers. All items can be purchased with cash, credit or debit cards.

‘District 202 officials are reminding families that all first-year preschoolers and students entering kindergarten, 6th and 9th grades this fall must have a current school physical completed within the last year with updated immunizations on file before school starts on August 25, 2009.

‘District 202 saved hundreds of thousands of dollars this past school year through the newly adopted Destiny Textbook Manager system.
