One person was taken to Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet Saturday after a hit-and-run crash at Caton Farm Road and Route 59, Joliet police said.

A spokesman for the Joliet Police Department’s west substation said four to five cars were involved in the crash around 3:15 p.m. He said details were unavailable on the crash late Saturday afternoon, but did say the offending driver fled the scene of the accident.

Police did not have any information on the patient’s condition immediately following the crash.
