Drug charges

Chenay N. Kendall, 22, of the 7500 block of Luella Avenue, Chicago, was arrested by Plainfield police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of illegal possession of 2.5 grams or less of cannabis and possession of a controlled substance, according to booking records.

Aug. 14

Drugged driving charge

Evan Cruz, 19, of the 1700 block of Manor Oaks, Plainfield, was taken into custody by Will County Sheriff’s police on a charge of driving under the influence of an illegal drug, police said.

Aug. 10

No license arrests

Christopher Conway, 21, of the 25000 block of Blakely Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 12:02 p.m. at Fescue and Route 30 and charged with driving without a valid license, police said.

Brandon Garcia, 22, of the 1900 block of Castle Ridge Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 9:51 p.m. at Indian Boundary Road and Poppy Lane, police said.
