Community members are invited to Plainfield’s National Night Out, an anti-crime and anti-drug effort aimed at providing a greater sense of awareness to area residents through neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships.
Plainfield’s National Night Out is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the former Plainfield Fire Protection District Administration Building, 15025 S. Des Plaines St. The event includes games, raffles and crafts and will be held in conjunction with MainStreet Plainfield’s weekly Cruise Night.
