Panera ‘Lemon-Aid for Kids’ Benefits Make-A-Wish Foundation
Few things are more refreshing than a cold glass of lemonade on a hot summer day, but it’s even sweeter when it’s for a good cause.
This weekend, Panera Bread’s Plainfield locations will take up with Make-A-Wish Illinois to host a “Lemon-Aid for Kids” lemonade stand fundraiser.
Customers who visit the stand can purchase a sample of lemonade for $1, with all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish Illinois. The foundation helps grant the wishes of seriously ill children in Illinois.
The Plainfield Panera Bread locations will be raising money in support of Samantha, a 14-year-old girl from Frankfort who wishes to visit Tahiti and stay in a water bungalow.
The times and locations for the Plainfield “Lemon-Aid for Kids” are:
- Panera Bread, 2360 S. Route 59: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and 28
- Panera Bread, 12632 S. Route 59: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 28
