I have known Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant and her family for over 30 years.
I have also had the good fortune of being Jennifer’s college professor and her colleague in education. During this time I have come to know Jennifer as a dedicated and committed public servant who cares a great deal about her constituents. As Will County Superintendent of Schools, she has demonstrated a strong advocacy for students, their families, their teachers and their school communities.
I am confident that she will carry that same spirited advocacy for taxpayers when she takes her seat in the Illinois Senate. We need people who will do the right thing in Springfield. We need people who will support and fight for issues that will improve our quality of life.
Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant will do this because she is not a politician and never will be. And that is why this fourth-generation resident of our community should be our choice on November 6.
