Funeral Scheduled for Alisha Bromfield
Family and friends are mourning the loss of Alisha N. Bromfield, a 21-year-old Plainfield area woman slain during a trip to Door County, Wisconsin.
Referring to her as Alisha Bromfield-Anicich, an obituary said the expectant mom and her unborn daughter, whom she’d planned to name Ava Lucille, will be laid to rest following funeral services on Saturday, Aug. 25.
Bromfield was a 2008 graduate of Joliet Catholic Academy and studied forensic science at Western Illinois University.
She is survived by parents Sherry and Joseph Anicich and James and Amy Heisner, along with a sister and three brothers.
Visitiation is scheduled for 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet.
Funeral services are scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Shorewood.
Attempts to reach Bromfield’s family were unsuccessful.
