At least one driver was transported to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital after an early morning crash Monday.

Illinois State Police Sgt. Martez Malone said two vehicles were involved in the crash on northbound Interstate 55 north of Route 126 around 6:38 p.m.

“For some unknown reason, they lost control, and both vehicles overturned,” rolling into a ditch, he said.

At least one victim was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, Malone said.

The accident remains under investigation.
