The American Library Association has designated the last week in September as Banned Books Week where libraries nationwide celebrate the freedom to read.  Please see many of the books that have been banned or challenged over the years on display from September 25 – October 2 at the Library and embrace your freedom to read by reading a banned or challenged book!  Check out this link for a list of books that have been challenged and/or banned in 2009 – 2010.
