Coffee with the Mayor Scheduled for August 12
Mayor Collins has announced that the next Coffee with the Mayor has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 12 at 9:00 a.m.
“Coffee with the Mayor is the perfect opportunity to ask questions of myself and the Village Staff and to learn more about the Village,” comments Mayor Collins. “I enjoy visiting with the residents every month.”
Join Mayor Collins for coffee and conversation on August 12 at Village Hall.
Mike Collins graduated from Plainfield High School and is a lifelong resident of Plainfield. He served in the United States Air Force from 1964-1968 and as a Plainfield Police Officer from 1968-1969. He then worked for the Illinois State Police from 1969-1998.
Mr. Collins previously served on the Village Board as a Trustee from 1999-2007 and served as a Trustee for the Plainfield Fire Protection District from 1989-1999.
